Alan Whitfield is an artist and poet.
Having worked in factory since leaving school Alan started his artistic journey in 2001. Originally from Widnes, Cheshire, Alan is currently living and working in North Wales.
Everyday observation and questioning of our surroundings motivates Alan to work photographically, capturing light and his own written and spoken words.
He has exhibited at Blinc International Digital Arts Festival, The National Eisteddfod and Llawn. He has recently completed a one year documentary residency at Storiel, Bangor. Alongside this Alan is a freelance arts facilitator.
